And a Half

Big event this week! Mister Luke turns two and a half!

As you probably know from reading Mr. Luke, I’m all for big celebrations. The more the merrier…more eats and treats!

So let’s get our party on and celebrate my half birthday on Sunday, January 21st.

Here’s a look back down memory lane at my six month milestones so far:

  0 months

   6 months

12 months

   18 months

   24 months

  30 months

Boy have I grown! Can’t wait for six more months. Bring ’em on!

Side note: – Cooper is a ’21’ birthday too as she’ll be 3 months on Sunday.

Big Sister

Big news! My friend Amelia is now a big sister!

She has a new little baby brother, Henry Michael, born on
January 13th.

I’m really excited!

It means I get a big plate of french fries and ketchup to celebrate!

Congrats Amelia (Mike and Amanda too)!

Monday Monday

Can you believe it’s Monday.

Already?

This is my Monday-are-you-kidding-me face.

I’m glad it’s Monday though because I have a very busy week with lots of emails to write. Yep, emails.

The weekend was so good because I had lots of ice cream. With my favorite truck right by my side. No wonder I like weekends.

But today is Monday. It’s back to reality.

BTW don’t I look exactly like Mommy here?

Swim Team

Remember I said that 2018 was going to be a whole new year of new things for Mr. Luke?

Well today I took my first step towards this goal.

Off I went…

To my first swimming lesson at The Y! Yep, I am now in training to be the next Mark Spitz.

But working on mastering my doggie paddle first.

Bombogenesis

Bombogenesis, Cyclone Bomber,  a good old-fashioned snowstorm, whatever you call it … I call it fun!

It was a whopper of a storm. Mommy, Daddy and I hit the slopes – the Central Park slopes – for sledding and snow angels and here’s the proof…

  snow angel success

 tastes good!

Snow days are so great. Another thing I love about them?

No school!

Bomb Cyclone

The snow is coming! The snow is coming!

Or so they say. They’re calling it the Bomb Cyclone. Yikes!

I’m bundled up and ready for the worst.

But hoping for the best. Anyone know how to make snow ice cream?

Keep on Truckin’

In case you are wondering if I’m  still obsessed with trucks, specifically heavy construction equipment, the answer is a solid YES.

I don’t just watch the machines do their work I study their mechanics quite intently both in books and

on the computer too.

It’s pretty cool because now everyone in my family has the truck fetish. Mimi and Auntie Hay get really excited when they can distinguish between a front loader and a bull dozer.

You know, it’s a really good day if my trucks have tuckered me out.

And you count on that pretty much every day.

Happy New Year

I can’t believe it’s already 2018. A whole New Year!

Mommy, Daddy and I toasted in the auld lang syne. I asked what that meant but no one knew.

I’m excited to see what’s in store for me in the new year. Where I’ll live, where I’ll go to school, what new friends I’ll make. Everything could change or nothing could. Who knows!

Happy New Year! 2017 is so yesterday.

Happy Holiday

My shopping madness is in full swing.

It’s hard figuring out what to buy everyone. You know,  to get exactly what they’d want. So I do a deep dive into what I would like because they would probably like that too. Like fire engines. Always a big hit.

This week I am off to Hingham to begin celebrating but I’ll be back home on the big day. I’m  hoping Santa will see me there and I’ll get two Christmas celebrations with lots of toys. Hey, make that three including New Jersey! Yippee!

I’m extra excited to go to Hingham to see Mimi and PopPop cause they got a new puppy. Yep! We all named her Cooper.

I can’t wait to play with her. I hope she’s ready for me.

Merry Christmas! See you next year!
